The long visit to Melaka meant that my daily meals were not boring.
I was grateful to be introduced to some of the most authentic and mouth-watering local eats in Malacca (Melaka) recently.
Some of the local cuisine that I tried and tasted were nasi lemak, rich curry mee, and perfectly fried mee goreng.

Most of the food tried may not have been the best, but they still packed a punch in the taste department.
I visited hidden gems inside food courts and kopitiams showcasing local Malaysian hawker food favorites — no tourist traps, just real flavors passed down through generations.
From fragrant coconut rice to spicy curries, sambals, rendang and wok-fried noodles packed with umami, this is Malaysian comfort food at her best!
