What we know, or don't, was meant to be. Through observation and understanding, your mental and physical state will stay healthy and happy.
I always find it fascinating hearing conversations.
Whether it is a group of retirees at a kopitiam or the youngsters at cafes.
Not that I am a serial eavesdropper, but these are loud groups that share information on topics regarding politics, love and life in general.
Typical Malaysian mah..., "you don't know meh?", is the usual 'I knew the story before you' trait!
Of course, many receive their information from the web and social media platforms that are mostly fake news (Many will argue that they are true!).
Some debates seem like arguments at times, while there have been occasions when friendships end due to differences of opinion.
Aren't we humans a special bunch?!
Most often than not, and subconsciously, we speak without realizing the truth or knowing the facts of a case or subject matter.
It is perfectly normal as we tend to be affected by others when we're in their company.
Familiarity breeds contempt after all and part of Cause & Effect.
And, I dare say it is perfectly fine as we were all meant to have flaws as human beings.
The reason I wrote this on a beautiful Saturday morning was because it hit me that having awareness helps greatly for us to understand each other.
Whether it is family, friends, colleagues or strangers, awareness of self and actions are what we need to cultivate both internally and externally.
It is best to embrace tolerance silently instead of having to right the wrongs of another.
What is right to us may likely be wrong in their opinion anyway!
These days, my conversations with friends involves me listening and offering advice if needed.
Especially when they share their personal and professional problems.
Having been through my fair share of problems and suffering, I can only offer small amounts of antidotes for them to be aware.
Did I solve their problems?
Most often than not, I would not know because these are intimate and sensitive topics.
But, I hope that my words of advise and how to deal with their problems can lessen the suffering endured.
We just have to remember that the colour of our blood is similar.
Embrace and seek the middle path, peace and loving kindness.
That's all we need during difficult times.
If you are going through a difficult period, or are feeling lost, don't give up. Seek a a family member or friend to share what is on your mind. Never keep your problems bottled up.
