CONFUSION KICKS-OFF MCO 3.0

Staying indoors is not a problem, it's the confusing SOP's that are getting Malaysians agitated.

My fellow Malaysians,

It is time for us to come together and do our part. Again.

PLEASE STAY AT HOME IF YOU DON'T NEED TO BUY FOOD OR MEDICATION AND WORK FROM HOME.

MCO 3.0 started for Selangor-ians on May 6th, before Kuala Lumpur was added to the list immediately the very next day.

This move happened after a backlash by netizens.

Among them were Segambut MP, Hannah Yeoh, who raised an intelligent question regarding the MCO on Twitter.

"I'm trying to understand the new MCO to combat Covid-19. On the the 1 Utama side = MCO. But cross just one traffic light, on the TTDI, KL = No MCO. I don't understand @MKNJPM strategy.

Here's the link to that story: https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/2021/05/04/daps-hannah-yeoh-says-mco-in-petaling-but-not-in-kl-baffling-when-both-are/1971668#.YJYEdgmEQ1U.link

Although I stay in KL, I have no complaints to be part of MCO 3.0 because the high number of Covid-19 cases scares the shit out of me.

Just spare a thought for the front liners whom are already overwhelmed.

Hospitals and quarantine centers are full as well.

And, our country does not have enough ventilators for everyone infected.

A lesson must be taken from the situation affecting India.

Their citizens just took this pandemic* for granted.

*PANDEMIC (From Cambridge Dictionary: (of a diseaseexisting in almost all of an area or in almost all of a group of peopleanimals, or plants)

I had many friends lamenting how they were not allowed to golf or even exercise outdoors.

A public outcry had surfaced on the net about the Ministry's ruling on sports and recreational activities.

“Come on, YB. Follow the science. Negligible risk of Covid transmission for outdoor individual exercise. It's been 17 months since the start of the pandemic, we know what's safe and what's not,” Harris Zainul tweeted.

Another change in that SOP was announced the next day. (https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/2021/05/07/ministry-non-contact-sports-and-recreational-activities-allowed-in-mco-3.0/1972521#.YJYEHdvzxqM.link)

So, after more than a year since the pandemic hit the world, the powers-that-be still has no clue of how to manage and reduce the number of Covid-19 infections?

Don't we have medical experts and scientists in the country advising our ministers?

Make no mistake, our personal health and of others are our priority now.

Forget going to Instagram-able cafes or meeting up for a pint of beer with friends.

Just apply simple logic to protect yourself and your loved ones.

I have made a decision to decline golf games, Hari Raya open house invitations and weddings; even if the number of cases have reduced after MCO 3.0.

Most of us haven't seen family and friends for eight months.

It is a small sacrifice and something we have to accept to win this battle against a hidden enemy.

Sorry mom, we'll celebrate Mother's Day everyday when this is over.

Enough of blogging, time to cook at home.

What Matters Most Is Inside You

Somehow, humans are a bunch of sensitive, overreacting bunch!!! Observing the way things have been going, it is obvious that the world, and in particular, the human species will never change. Our lives are filled with the trails and tribulations of evolution and co-existence. Wars... they are inevitable and have always been existent even before billions of us were born. With the good, comes evil. IS ANYONE GOING TO STOP THE GENOCIDE HAPPENING IN THE MIDDLE EAST? Never mind that... Just look into the mirror and ask yourself whether you have felt anguish and hatred towards another human being? Have you gotten so angry before that you felt like strangling an irritating, back-stabbing colleague? Yes..., you have right? It is okay that you have had such feelings as we all have faced our fair share of bad and evil people in our lives. Do we just sit in silence or do we do something about it? When I was younger, I would have chosen the latter cause of action. Nowadays, I am trying my best to

SHARING WHAT I LEARNT... SO FAR!

Throughout my life, I have been blessed with many experiences from challenges - the good, the bad and the ugly. Like most other humans on Earth, there have been times when there seems to be no hope. The dark days were often filled with calamities in career and finances most of the time. Sounds familiar, right? For me, I have been fortunate to have family and friends to be there for me. May they be blessed with a happy and prosperous life. One thing is for sure, I realized now at 54, not all bad days will stay, just like good happy days. This realization comes from the "polishing" of my inner-self over the years; the hammering of the ego, the much-needed slap of my pessimistic nature... heck, whatever weaknesses that I was born with. Wisdom setting in? The meeting with many people that I came into contact with in my life, and the various situations that I had to deal with in my career and personal life of course, was the foundation laying of this realization. Learning from the

REMINDER: BE KIND

Have people forgotten to be kind & respectful to each other? Hello beautiful people. I was awakened by inspiration to write on this topic. In our daily lives, we meet many people who are either nice or toxic. If we're lucky, some of us can feel people with kind or bad energy. The experiences are unavoidable and is part of our life path or fate, I suppose. Yin and yang,  I have personally encountered good and bad people. More good and kind souls, thankfully. But either or, they are blessings of experience that have given me awareness and wisdom. Recently, I have encountered many rude people. They seemed to have forgotten their manners or the basic need to be kind and loving to others. Some are just plain rude. Has the desire and greed for success, money and power gone to their heads?  We must remind ourselves that we cannot change people though. Here are some tips for everyone to be aware of their speech and actions daily: Be kind You are not better than another person Don'
