A Discovery To Fight The Dengue Threat

Being someone who got bitten by a mosquito and getting floored by dengue fever in the past, it was a blessing that I received the chance to use and sell this 5-year-old Malaysian-made product.

Invented by Dr. Koay, the MozOne repellent compact 40g (66ml) aerosol can is a must have at home, in your handbags, backpacks, in the car and golf bags.

Priced at only RM20, the odourless MozOne works well in rooms and the effectiveness certainly gives one peace of mind when the mosquitoes are running rampant.

The memory of the high fever still scares me, I must admit.

Knowing that the can comes with a metered valve, all I need is one push for each metered spray.

I use it daily in my living room, the bedrooms, the kitchen, the balcony and the toilets in my condo.

I even spray it on my backpacks, sling bag and on my clothes to be safe.

Furthermore, this compact aerosol spray certainly offers more savings compared with other large cans that I have used in the past.

It certainly is more convenient than having to light mosquito coils and eliminates the hassle to throw away the ashes later.

And, the MozOne does not leave oily stains on surfaces.

WHAT IS MOZONE?

MozOne is a synthetic phyrethroids-based aerosol insecticide.

It contains high-tech ingredients from Sumitomo Chemical from Japan.

Has nano micro-technology which has a slow release feature.

You can spray on hard or flat surfaces for best effect on mosquitoes.

Nano micro-technology makes the anti-mosquito agent last up to 8 hours.

MozOne is a compact mini spray aerosol insecticide with a metered valve, comes in 40g (66ml) that delivers up to 670 sprays.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Spray at the 4 corners of a 10ft x 10ft room (from 1 meter distance from the wall).

The effect lasts up to 8 hours.

Increase the number of sprays according to room size.

INGREDIENTS

The active ingredient of MozOne is Metofluthrin which is from Synthetic Pyrethroid.

This group of insecticides are toxic to insects.

It attacks the nerve system of insects and kills them but the toxicity is low on mammals.

Synthetic Pyrethroid is biodegradable and its residual is very short.

Metofluthrin’s high evaporation characteristics provides up to 8 hours of protection.

WHAT DOES THE TECHNOLOGY DO TO MOSQUITOES?

It confuses the mosquito’s senses, rendering them incapable.

The nano micro particle disrupts their appetite and stops them from biting humans and pets.

There are many condominiums that regularly conduct fogging, but I found that it doesn't deter the mosquitoes.

In fact when the fogging starts at my condominium, I find more mosquitoes flying into my unit!

The image above certainly convinces me on the use of fogging

While we continue to fight, and fear, the Covid-19 virus, it is best that we also stay vigilant against dengue fever.

A Bernama report from 2020 that I picked-up:

A total of 50,511 dengue cases and 88 fatalities were recorded in Malaysia from Jan 1 to June 13, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

He said the total cumulative cases is lower compared to the 56,819 cases and 88 fatalities recorded in the same period, last year.

"However, the past eight weeks saw (a rising) trend, with an average (increase) of eight per cent a week. Based on the trends, the ministry is expecting the second wave of dengue in early June until September 2020," he said in a statement in conjunction with the 10th Asean Dengue Day here, today.

Apart from personal use, I would suggest all industries to consider using this MozOne product which I find to be highly effective.

Offices, factories, construction sites, hospitals, golf clubs, trains, buses, restaurants (yes, it is not as toxic as other brands) and etc.

Thank you and have a nice day!

What Matters Most Is Inside You

Somehow, humans are a bunch of sensitive, overreacting bunch!!! Observing the way things have been going, it is obvious that the world, and in particular, the human species will never change. Our lives are filled with the trails and tribulations of evolution and co-existence. Wars... they are inevitable and have always been existent even before billions of us were born. With the good, comes evil. IS ANYONE GOING TO STOP THE GENOCIDE HAPPENING IN THE MIDDLE EAST? Never mind that... Just look into the mirror and ask yourself whether you have felt anguish and hatred towards another human being? Have you gotten so angry before that you felt like strangling an irritating, back-stabbing colleague? Yes..., you have right? It is okay that you have had such feelings as we all have faced our fair share of bad and evil people in our lives. Do we just sit in silence or do we do something about it? When I was younger, I would have chosen the latter cause of action. Nowadays, I am trying my best to

SHARING WHAT I LEARNT... SO FAR!

Throughout my life, I have been blessed with many experiences from challenges - the good, the bad and the ugly. Like most other humans on Earth, there have been times when there seems to be no hope. The dark days were often filled with calamities in career and finances most of the time. Sounds familiar, right? For me, I have been fortunate to have family and friends to be there for me. May they be blessed with a happy and prosperous life. One thing is for sure, I realized now at 54, not all bad days will stay, just like good happy days. This realization comes from the "polishing" of my inner-self over the years; the hammering of the ego, the much-needed slap of my pessimistic nature... heck, whatever weaknesses that I was born with. Wisdom setting in? The meeting with many people that I came into contact with in my life, and the various situations that I had to deal with in my career and personal life of course, was the foundation laying of this realization. Learning from the

REMINDER: BE KIND

Have people forgotten to be kind & respectful to each other? Hello beautiful people. I was awakened by inspiration to write on this topic. In our daily lives, we meet many people who are either nice or toxic. If we're lucky, some of us can feel people with kind or bad energy. The experiences are unavoidable and is part of our life path or fate, I suppose. Yin and yang,  I have personally encountered good and bad people. More good and kind souls, thankfully. But either or, they are blessings of experience that have given me awareness and wisdom. Recently, I have encountered many rude people. They seemed to have forgotten their manners or the basic need to be kind and loving to others. Some are just plain rude. Has the desire and greed for success, money and power gone to their heads?  We must remind ourselves that we cannot change people though. Here are some tips for everyone to be aware of their speech and actions daily: Be kind You are not better than another person Don'
