Who said life was meant to be easy... no work, no money lor!
Season's greetings to all... hope your holidays are going well so far.
Today is Boxing Day.
Obviously there are people working, and I am receiving messages and emails from all around the world. Thank you Universe.
Associates and colleagues are still buzzing, looking forward to 2025 work and business matters.
Part and parcel of being a consultant I suppose, and not at all complaining.
My respect goes out to the police, fire department, government servants, health care workers and many others that have to work during the holiday season.
Not everyone will share my enthusiasm during this holiday period, but I am accustomed to working on holidays to put food on the table for the family (Work Life Balance?!!).
It also brings back fond memories from 2018 when my events and media management partnership was going strong. Best time of my career indeed.
Life is a journey, and those times definitely brought very meaningful times of self-discovery and realization.
That period tested my character; showed me that I was blessed with inner will and leadership; gave me an excuse to use my creative talents, most of which came in handy to resolve situations or manage client demands.
It also brought me to many destinations that I never expected to visit.
And, along the way I met many beautiful souls.
Nowadays, not much or anything gives me much stress.
Perhaps, I have found grounding and obviously in my mid-50s', don't give a s**t with the crap of others'.
Let you "shiok sendiri" lah! One day, you will langgar pokok, as I have for many years.
Many lessons were beyond harsh, but I have long accepted them and moved on... used them to my advantage even.
In the past, I have given much advice to many, maybe even lectures. If you ever received one or two from me before, that means I cared.
We all have differences of opinion anyway.
So, if you are reading this and you have to deal with a lot of work or a bad colleague, don't give up.
Use every difficult situation or toxic person you face as a positive. Be grateful and thankful.
Control your thoughts and emotions. Be Mindful.
Be aware of your inner self and actions. How you react, makes you.
Always remember, life is about cause an effect.
Om Mani Padme Hum.
