Before clickbait stories (extremely short pieces) came along, there was something known as journalism.
But we now know that the knights of the journalism order are a dying breed, or extinct, due to the world's hunger and greed to sell digitally.
Those days, newspapers called it sensationalism.
Today, this need is called a trend.
A trend that was created from a need to make the world a better place to live in.
The digital age is wonderful but it comes with many uncountable prices to pay.
What about telling the truth to expunge the evil side of man?
To stop bigots and bullies from trampling on the weak.
Are we not forgetting to uphold this simple virtue of humanity for the sake of getting more eyeballs amongst those aged 21-35?
What about raw and accurate facts in stories found on the web?
What about justice instead of profits?
I bet the majority won't even make a stand.
That's where we have ended up.
It is now a world of senseless opinions, peddled by innocent and unsuspecting humans sucked into this life of a keyboard warrior.
Most, become haters as they are known nowadays.
After reading this line, put down your digital device and look around you.
Look closely... No one is talking and listening to each other.

Somehow, humans are a bunch of sensitive, overreacting bunch!!! Observing the way things have been going, it is obvious that the world, and in particular, the human species will never change. What we know, or don't, was meant to be. Through observation and understanding, your mental and physical state will stay healthy and happy. I always find it fascinating hearing conversations. Whether it is a group of retirees at a kopitiam or the youngsters at cafes. Not that I am a serial eavesdropper, but these are loud groups that share information on topics regarding politics, love and life in general.
